A new generation of coin collecting
Perth Mint have partnered with RARE for a number of years to create a stand alone site to support each years Young Collectors initiative to introduce kids to the world of coin collecting.
Our focus was to capture the imagination of the 7-12yr old market. Striking colour and imagery combined with an interactive playful interface and navigation with a games hub make exploration and research fun and engaging for children.
The site became a hub for young collectors and directed target audience traffic to the site to check out the top scores on the games leaderboard, while the use of an interactive backyard bug coin search familiarized users with the coin series release, with quizes and competitions to test their knowledge and entice repeat traffic.
